Just a short hop for us today, so after letting Eira out for a morning wee we got back in bed for our tea and coffee. We were really lucky &#8211; with a steady stream of boats coming the other way, Sarah didn&#8217;t have to open a single entry gate, nor close an exit one, making the locks a breeze.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul Woodseaves Cutting is over 100 feet deep in places, and it all felt rather other-worldly as we passed through, seemingly cut off from the rest of the world.
