We made good progress through the various locks and stopped for some scrummy bacon butties. Autherley junction and our entry on to the Staffs and Worcester canal was somewhat underwhelming, and lacked the hustle and bustle of other junctions.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_318\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-318\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"http:\/\/toby200.net\/oliver\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/IMG_1443.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-318 size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/toby200.net\/oliver\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/IMG_1443-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_1443\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-318\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">It&#8217;s not everyday you see a Caraboat on the canal!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"attachment_319\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-319\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"http:\/\/toby200.net\/oliver\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/IMG_1457.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-319 size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/toby200.net\/oliver\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/IMG_1457-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"Turning onto the Staffordshire and Worcester canal\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-319\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Turning onto the Staffordshire and Worcester canal<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>We moored up in good time at 4.30 and the arrival of a hungry pair of swans and two signets. \u00a0We didn&#8217;t feed them and paid the price of one of the swans nibbling on the side of the boat (do swans have teeth?!). \u00a0We tried hiding, Toby hissed and waved a big towel, we even banged ropes and fenders on the side of the boat&#8230;it was one nutty swan! \u00a0Eventually it did leave us and tried it&#8217;s luck at Casual Water who moored in front of us.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_321\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-321\" style=\"width: 225px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"http:\/\/toby200.net\/oliver\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/IMG_1468-e1435092709552.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-321\" src=\"http:\/\/toby200.net\/oliver\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/IMG_1468-e1435092709552-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"The swan kept pecking at the side of the boat rushing up and down the length.
