Toby used the dremmel to remove a broken rivet on the front cratch and I listened to the radio (all about men having liposuction!). We called ahead as instructed at Gloucester Dock and with a rise of 16ft, it&#8217;s one of the deepest.\u00a0 We slowly rose up the lock and saw the wonders of Gloucester Docks and the mills.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_1761\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1761\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"http:\/\/toby200.net\/oliver\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/DSC00643-Custom.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-1761 size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/toby200.net\/oliver\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/DSC00643-Custom-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/toby200.net\/oliver\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/DSC00643-Custom-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/toby200.net\/oliver\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/DSC00643-Custom-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/toby200.net\/oliver\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/DSC00643-Custom.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-1761\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Leaving Gloucester lock in the docks<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>We then saw on the map lots of swing electrified swing bridges, I thought I was in for a busy afternoon hopping on and off &#8211; we were really surprised that they&#8217;re all manned with traffic lights.\u00a0 Red &#8211; wait. Flashing Red &#8211; I&#8217;ve seen you and I&#8217;m opening the lock\/bridge.\u00a0 Green &#8211; go.\u00a0 It&#8217;s the closest we&#8217;ll ever get to a formula 1 grand prix start as we&#8217;re idling up to the traffic lights, they turn green and you welly the throttle &#8211; it only arrived from the docks this morning.\u00a0 No-one was aboard, so we gently came alongside and moored up.\u00a0 It took nearly an hour to fill the tank, so we had a good nosey in through the windows and in the lockers.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_1764\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1764\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"http:\/\/toby200.net\/oliver\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/DSC00698-Custom.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-1764 size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/toby200.net\/oliver\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/DSC00698-Custom-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/toby200.net\/oliver\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/DSC00698-Custom-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/toby200.net\/oliver\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/DSC00698-Custom-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/toby200.net\/oliver\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/DSC00698-Custom.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-1764\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Filling up with water<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>After turning around, and some 30 miles travelled, we finally moored up at 6.30.\u00a0 It&#8217;s not often on a canal, you have such a view &#8211; in this case the River Severn.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/toby200.net\/oliver\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/DSC00700-Custom.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-1765\" src=\"http:\/\/toby200.net\/oliver\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/DSC00700-Custom-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/toby200.net\/oliver\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/DSC00700-Custom-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/toby200.net\/oliver\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/DSC00700-Custom-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/toby200.net\/oliver\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/DSC00700-Custom.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>A quick dinner (salmon &#8211;
